You save a link.
We show it to you where you need it most.

LinkMartin is a Chrome extension. It saves any page, writes a description and tags for it, and puts it back in front of you — in your browser sidebar, or right inside your Google results.

Saving works the moment you install it — no account needed.

Also works in Edge, Brave and Vivaldi.

What happens when you save

One click, three things

1. The page is saved

Its title, its web address, and a picture of it. You do not need to choose a folder or fill anything in.

2. AI describes the saved page

AI writes what it is about: a description, a handful of tags, and one of your categories. A PDF or other document gets the same three.

3. You can find it in many ways

Your bookmark now carries a title, a description, tags, a category, and its web address — so typing any word from any of them finds it.

Features

What LinkMartin does

How LinkMartin saves a page, and how you find it again months later.

A card with your bookmarks on the Google results page

Shows your saves in your Google results

Search Google the way you always do. If something you have already saved matches what you searched for, your matching bookmarks appear in a small card above the first result.

LinkMartin does the matching on your own device. What you type into Google never reaches us.

A filled-in bookmark, every time

Writes the description, the tags, and the category for you

When you save a page, LinkMartin writes the description, adds the tags, and picks one of your categories — and all of it is yours to edit.

One saved bookmark: its description, five tag chips, and the category it was filed into.
Keyword search over your whole library

Searches every field, not just the title

LinkMartin searches titles, descriptions, tags, categories, and web addresses. If a word is in any of them, typing it finds the bookmark.

A library search where the term is highlighted twice — once in a description, once in a matching tag chip.
Related bookmarks, on every one you open

Suggests what else you saved on the subject

Open a bookmark and LinkMartin shows others on a related subject.

An import from Chrome, HTML, or CSV files

Imports all your bookmarks

LinkMartin brings your Chrome bookmarks across in one click. Every folder becomes a tag, so the structure you built survives the migration, and the date you originally saved each page comes with it. From other tools, import an HTML or CSV file.

Imported bookmarks arrive as they are — plain. Open one and it gets a description, tags, and a category — and that uses one credit.

The library straight after an import, filtered by the "Chrome import" tag.
A local copy, kept in your browser

Keeps working when you are offline

LinkMartin stores your library in the browser you are using, so it opens and searches with no connection at all.

Sign in, and your library syncs through our service to your other Chrome installations — the same bookmarks in each one.

Export a copy of everything whenever you like — free on every plan, for ever. Deleting is never blocked.

Your own instructions, and your own AI account — on Pro

Runs on your instructions, and the AI you choose

Tell the AI once how you want your bookmarks written, and every save comes out that way: your vocabulary in the tags, and the detail you care about at the front of the description.

Or bring your own AI. Connect an OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenAI-compatible account, and the model is your choice: a larger one for richer descriptions, or a new one the day it ships.

Questions

Do I need an account?

Not to start. Saving, search, sorting, the tags you write yourself, the card in Google, import, and export all work signed out. An account adds two things: AI descriptions and tags, and sync.

Is it really free?

Yes. Unlimited saves, 50 AI credits a month, and five categories in total — with no time limit and no trial that expires.

Does search understand what I mean?

No. It matches words. A search for "cheap flights" will not find a page about "budget airfare" unless one of those words is in the bookmark.

Which browsers does it work in?

Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Opera — they are all built on Chromium, so it is one extension for all of them. Signing in syncs your library between the browsers you use LinkMartin in. It is a desktop extension: mobile Chrome cannot run extensions, so there is no phone version.

Does it save a copy of the page?

No. The picture on a bookmark is a thumbnail. If the page goes offline you still have the picture, the web address, and everything written about it — but not the page.

What permission does it ask for?

Access to the pages you save, so it can read the title and text and take the picture — your browser words this as all websites, and lists "read your browsing history" because it has to see the tab you are saving. Nothing is read unless you save it. Your browser bookmarks only if you import them; google.com for the card in your results, which you can switch off.

Can I use my own AI key?

Yes, on Pro. Connect an OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenAI-compatible account, and your provider writes the descriptions and tags instead of ours. You choose the model.

Stuck, or is something missing?
