Saving is unlimited and free, for ever. The paid plan removes the limits on AI and on categories — nothing else differs.
What do both plans include?

Credits
What is a credit?
One credit is one piece of AI work on one bookmark — the description, the tags, and the category together.

- Opening an imported bookmark for the first time
Nothing else does. Editing text yourself, searching, sorting, adding your own tags, and exporting are all free. If the AI fails, the credit is not taken.
What happens when my credits run out?
- Saving carries on exactly as before
- Pages arrive without a description, tags, or a category, and stay that way until you ask
- They are still saved, still findable by title and web address
- They still appear in the card inside your Google results, matched on those alone
- Nothing is filled in retrospectively when your credits renew — open a bookmark and regenerate when you want it
What happens if I stop paying?
- Nothing is deleted
- Categories above the free limit of five stay where they are and keep working
- You simply cannot create a new one until you are back under the limit
- Credits go back to 50 a month, and custom instructions stop being applied
- Export stays free
